The California-based multi-instrumentalist creates psychedelic multimedia experiences and software tools for art. He is pursuing a Master of Science in Media Arts and Technology at UCSB, where he researches digital signal processing for immersive media and machine learning for audio.

Lucian is currently working on algorithmic spatialization projects, audio-reactive shader meta programming, and ultrasonic prompt injection.

His newest piece, spinning through soft light, is an immersive album of granular chamber music that debuted in the AlloSphere.

Other recent music projects include Suite for Drowning, an hour-long electroacoustic chamber concert album (2024), and Riparian Forms, an album of avant-garde soundscape ecology chamber music. Riparian Forms sonified remote locations along the California Coast as part of a UC research grant.
